What is it?
It is a variable speed pressure boosting package.

Technologic 500 Controller with Danfoss variable frequency drives can operate and control up to 3 horizontal or vertically mounted parallel pumps. Any type of B&G's or Gould's pumps can be used on these packages.The high end Tech 5500 controller is capable of handling up to 6 pumps as standard utilizing any brand of VFDs.

Technologic 70VS Pressure Booster • Variable speed pump application • Technologic Pump Control Panel (Tech 5500 or Tech 500) • Common back panel configuration available with Tech 500 and Danfoss VLT 6000 drives • Option for manual or automatic bypass • Horizontal or vertical mounted pumps • Choice of PRV or check valve on pump discharge • Thermal relief system to protect pumps from overheating • UL Listed • No Flow shut down • Capacities from 40 to 2000 GPM

How does it work?
The system can be enabled to run automatically from the keypad, or remotely via "dry contact", or serial communication.
The pumps then stage on and off and vary their speed to meet the design requirements of flow and head.
Why use it?
To boost pressure of incoming city water and of the available hot water to meet the flow and head requirements during the day and night.
Typical application
Hot and/or cold water pressure boosting applications for schools, prisons, large and small residential and commercial buildings, etc.
Selection Process
Selection of pumps, headers, and pressure reducing valves is done through ESP- PLUS. Quotes are generated using the pricing tool ESP-REP.
